Design and materials
The plate is made of genuine alabaster; its veins and cloudy markings only truly come out when the integrated LED glows behind it. The light is filtered through the stone and released into the wall and room as warm, even backlighting. The metal parts are made of solid copper with a brushed gold finish. KLARLA comes round at Ø 20 cm (7 W) with a central disc, or oval at 42 cm high and 16 cm wide (15 W) with two discs. The LED is designed for a lifespan of 50,000 hours. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece.
