The LED ceiling light HJORT consists of two concentric, stepped cylinders in a warm walnut effect. It glows between the rings and in the center, creating a double halo of light.
Design and materials
The outer ring is deeper than the inner one; the insides are lighter in tone and reflect the light warmly. An opal white light surface sits in the center, and a second lit area lies in the gap between the two rings. According to the manufacturer, the housing is made of metal with a walnut-effect finish; it is not solid wood. The lamp comes in a diameter of 40 cm (15.7 in) and a height of 14 cm (5.5 in), or a diameter of 50 cm (19.7 in) and a height of 17 cm (6.7 in). Switched off, it looks like a simple wooden object on the ceiling; switched on, the warm ring of light between the two cylinders stands out and gives the lamp depth.

Where the lamp shines
In the bedroom, HJORT gives a soft, warm general light that suits linen, oak and natural tones. In the living or dining room, the 50 cm (19.7 in) version acts as a calm centerpiece on the ceiling. In a Japandi or mid-century hallway or study, the dark wood tone also adds a homely accent. As the lamp sits directly on the ceiling, it is also suitable for rooms where a pendant would hang too low.
