The travertine wall sconce LILA pairs a round stone disc with a small wooden spotlight: compact, natural and with focused light.
Design and materials
The wall disc is made from solid beige travertine, with open pores and fine layers that make every piece look different. In front of it, on a black joint, sits a cylindrical wooden spotlight, either dark in a walnut tone or light in a natural wood tone. A black ball chain hangs beneath. The light leaves the opening of the cylinder and falls in a focused beam onto a shelf, a book or the wall, while the stone reveals its texture in the grazing light. The disc measures Ø 18 cm (7.1 in). The pores and markings of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In the bedroom, LILA is a space-saving reading light: mounted beside the bed, it lights your book and nightstand without disturbing your partner. In the living room, it adds a focused accent above an armchair or a shelf. In the hallway, it can highlight a picture or an alcove. Dark wood suits warm interiors with walnut; light wood suits bright, Scandinavian rooms.
