Design and materials
A matte black metal arm sweeps forward from the round wall plate in a swan-neck curve. A turned walnut collar links it to the beige travertine dome, whose open pores reveal the natural texture of the stone. Beneath sits an opal glass globe that diffuses the light softly all around. The stone dome shields the light upwards and directs it into the room, creating a calm, low-glare pool of light without harsh shadows. The pores, grain and tone of the travertine vary from piece to piece.
