The alabaster wall sconce BUZA looks like a split pebble on the wall: two curved shells of genuine alabaster, held at the center by a stitched leather strap.
Design and materials
Both halves are carved from a solid block of alabaster rather than assembled from reconstituted stone. They are carried by a discreet matte black metal bracket which, together with the leather strap and its decorative stitching, forms a subtle contrast with the pale stone. Switched off, BUZA is a calm stone object; switched on, a soft, glare-free source of light: the alabaster diffuses the light within its depth rather than reflecting it from the surface. The light comes in two sizes (36 cm (14.2 in) and 52 cm (20.5 in)) with warm white 3000 K LED light, optionally in a Triac-dimmable version. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece.

Where it shines
In the bedroom above the nightstand, BUZA gives a gentle light for reading and unwinding, and with the Triac version you can dim it further in the evening. In the living room, the large 52 cm (20.5 in) version becomes a focal point on an empty wall or beside a sofa. The smaller 36 cm (14.2 in) version fits well in a hallway or beside a mirror. Choose the size according to wall space and ceiling height.
