The wooden wall light VIGGA is a simple, elongated wooden body with fine slats – a calm, Japanese-inspired piece that casts warm light down the wall.
Design and materials
The rectangular body is built from stacked horizontal wooden battens that create a finely ribbed front. Short side ends frame the lamp. The integrated LED is set back on the underside: switched off, you see only the natural-coloured wood; switched on, a soft, warm white strip of light falls on the wall below. Both lengths have the same wooden surface with visible grain, and height and depth stay the same. The slats give the simple body depth and look lively as the daylight changes, and the lamp projects only 8 cm from the wall.
