Design and materials
The conical shade of cream fabric is folded into narrow pleats all the way round; when lit, the pleat edges stand out brightly and the linen texture becomes visible. Beneath it sits a compact wooden ball with a lively grain, joined by a short, chrome-plated neck. The light falls downwards and to the sides, softened by the fabric, creating a calm reading-light atmosphere. The contrast between pale fabric, dark wood and shiny chrome gives the small lamp a clear, polished look. The lamp comes in just this one version: cream with walnut.
