The travertine wall sconce BODO brings four materials together in one compact body: natural stone, solid wood, metal and glass. It can be mounted on the wall or the ceiling.
Design and materials
The shade in genuine, untreated travertine shows the stone’s typical porous beige surface. It sits on a solid wood body fixed to the wall with a round wooden canopy, with a white opal glass globe hidden beneath. There are two shapes to choose from, a flat cylinder and a taller dome, and two wood tones: dark walnut-toned wood with black metal accents, or light natural wood with brass accents. The opal glass diffuses the light softly and brings out the texture of the travertine.
