The travertine wall sconce YRIS is reduced to three elements: a round plate, a line and a cone – wood, metal and stone.
Design and materials
A round walnut wall plate carries a horizontal arm in matte black metal. From its end hangs a conical travertine shade whose beige surface shows fine natural pores. The cone directs the light downwards, drawing a clear, softly fading beam on the wall without glare. Because each shade comes from a different block of stone, the veining and pores vary from piece to piece.

Where it shines
Mounted above the nightstand, YRIS becomes a directed reading light that puts the light exactly where you need it. Above a bench or console in the hallway, it adds a warm accent. In the living room it sits well beside a shelf or armchair, and in the kitchen above a worktop. Pale walls, wood and linen make the stone and walnut feel especially calm, while the black metal draws a fine graphic line.
