The alabaster pendant light NILA is formed of three geometric steps set one above the other and, when switched on, glows through the whole stone.
Design and material
The body is made of genuine ivory alabaster with cloudy, gray-beige veining. A small tip, a flared middle section and a wide, conical lower section form a stepped silhouette with crisp edges. When switched on, the translucent stone filters the light and brings the veins out warmly, while most of the light emerges at the bottom. There are two models: conical at 22 cm high and round at 18 cm high, both 18 cm in diameter. The veining and translucency of the alabaster vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In the bedroom, NILA hangs low beside the bed and replaces the bedside lamp; as a pair, it frames the headboard. Above a dining table or a desk, it works as a sculptural centrepiece. In the living room, it adds a warm, glowing accent to a corner. Linen, pale wood and muted greens suit the pale stone well.
