The travertine wall sconce POLI is a small hanging composition of three materials: stone, wood and black metal.
Design and materials
A curved arm of black metal projects from a round wall rose of solid walnut. From it, on a black cable, hangs a walnut ball followed by a cone-shaped shade of beige travertine. The open pores of the stone remain visible and give the shade a lively, natural surface. The light falls downwards, highlighting the rim of the cone. The pores and tone of the travertine vary from piece to piece. With a dimmer, you can adjust the brightness smoothly to the time of day, from bright reading light to a subdued evening mood.

Where the light comes into its own
