The amber glass wall sconce GALO combines two glass shades with a warm color gradient and a brushed gold frame into a small light object with retro charm.
Design and materials
Two shades in textured glass face each other, one opening upwards and the other downwards. At the center, a gold metal ring holds them and connects to the round wall plate via a short arm. The glass shows a gradient from dark amber to pale caramel; the manufacturer calls this version red, but it looks caramel to amber. When lit, GALO shines up and down and bathes the wall in a warm, golden light that appears especially soft through the tinted glass. The brightness can be adjusted with a compatible dimmer, which is not included.
