The alabaster wall sconce ERFI is reduced to the essentials: a tall, gently curved surface of genuine alabaster that stands in front of the wall and sends the light through the stone.
Design and materials
The front is carved from a solid block of alabaster and edged at the sides by slim metal profiles. At the bottom, a metal shield with a wavy upper edge supports the stone like a plinth. The brass frame comes in black or brass, and the light itself in three heights: 40, 60 and 90 cm. When lit, the stone glows from within, the veins show against the light and the alabaster turns the LED into a warm, glare-free glow. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece, so each light looks slightly different.

Where it shines
In the living room beside an armchair or above a wooden console, ERFI creates a calm reading corner with soft light at eye level. The 40 cm version fits beside the bed or in a narrow hallway, while the 60 and 90 cm models give structure to tall walls in a stairwell or dining area. Mounted as a pair either side of a sideboard, it creates a symmetrical, homely lighting scheme that still reads as a stone object when switched off.
