The travertine wall sconce ZITO looks like a split pebble on the wall. A narrow line of warm light shines through an irregular crack across its middle.
Design and materials
The round, gently domed body of genuine beige travertine measures 20 cm (7.9 in) in diameter. A horizontal break divides it from edge to edge, with rough, irregular edges along the split. Behind it, the bulb sits on a metal frame with integrated wiring. Switched on, the light grazes the broken edges and picks out every pore of the stone; switched off, a calm stone remains on the wall. The line of the split, the pores and the tone differ slightly on every piece.

Where the light comes into its own
Mounted above the nightstand, ZITO gives discreet light for the evening. Two on either side of the bed or beside a mirror look like a matching pair. In a hallway above a shelf, or in a dining corner with a bench, the line of light draws a calm accent on the wall. Pale wood, lime plaster and natural textiles underline the texture of the stone.
