The alabaster table lamp REVI arranges triangular panels of genuine alabaster into a star-shaped sculpture that glows from within.
Design and material
Several triangular alabaster panels intersect at different angles, forming a dynamic, angular silhouette. They are held by black rods and clips above a conical base of matte black metal that calmly grounds the light, open form. At 50 cm (19.7 in) high and 42 cm (16.5 in) wide, REVI is a generous piece. The ivory panels show distinct veins. When switched on, the light shines through the stone, which filters, softens and warms it, so a different gradient emerges depending on the time of day. Switched off, REVI remains a sculpture of stone and metal. Veining, tone and translucency vary from piece to piece.
