The mushroom lamp NOOR combines a semicircular, brown-tinted acrylic shade with a base of three stacked elements that look turned. Its retro character suits wabi sabi and mid-century rooms.
Design and materials
The translucent shade of brown acrylic is topped by a small brass-colored ball; beneath it lies a light inner bowl that makes the light glow warm and yellow-orange. A clear holder connects the shade to the stand. The stem and round base show a dark wood grain; according to the manufacturer, they are made of metal (iron) with a wood effect, not solid wood. The lamp has an E26 bulb holder, and a warm white LED bulb is included. Switched off, the shade looks like dark amber glass; switched on, it becomes a glowing dome.
