The mushroom shape of the rechargeable table lamp MIDO takes its cue from 1970s design. A translucent acrylic shade and lacquered surfaces give the lamp its distinctive look – on a nightstand as much as in the living room.
Design and materials
MIDO combines an acrylic shade with an ABS body. At 23 cm (9.1 in) high and 16 cm (6.3 in) in diameter, it is compact. The touch-sensitive base lets you choose between warm white (3000 K), neutral white (4500 K) and cool white light (6000 K). A longer touch changes the brightness in three steps: 20 %, 50 % and 100 %. The built-in battery charges via USB and lasts up to 6 hours; a USB charging cable is included.

Where the lamp shines
