The lantern floor lamp LINA looks like a modern floor lantern: a conical shade in natural beige fabric hangs in a frame of flat, black iron bands and glows just above the floor.
Design and materials
Four narrow bands of black iron form the legs, run up along the shade and cross above the opening to form a low hoop reminiscent of a lantern handle. The shade widens slightly toward the bottom and shows a coarse, natural beige weave with a linen look; a black ring frames the top edge. When switched on, the warm light shines through the fabric and reveals its texture, while some of the light falls up and down out of the open shade. At 59.5 cm (23.4 in) high and 48.1 cm (18.9 in) wide, LINA stands compactly on the floor and looks like a wabi-sabi-style decorative object even when switched off.
