Design and materials
Two slim chrome-plated struts run from the floor and the ceiling to the middle, where they open into a round frame 40 cm (15.7 in) wide. Inside sits a white opal acrylic body that diffuses light softly and evenly in all directions. The polished chrome surface reflects the light and its surroundings, so the lamp looks light despite its length. As GRAN does not stand freely but is tensioned, you choose the version to match your ceiling height: 220–250 cm (98.4 in), 250–280 cm (110.2 in) or 280–325 cm (128 in).
