The bamboo pendant light ALDA pairs a tightly woven head of natural bamboo with long, loosely falling bamboo strips. The result is a pendant with a soft, almost textile silhouette that reads as an object in the room even when it is switched off.
Design and materials
The upper part of the shade is a fine diamond weave; below it, the strips loosen into a relaxed curtain of fringes. The proportions change with the size: the slim 15 and 17 cm (6.7 in) versions look like a long capsule, while the larger versions are wider and rounder – the dimension drawings show each size individually. A single light source sits in the head of the shade, and its light falls warmly through the weave, tracing delicate patterns on the ceiling and walls. The black cable and black suspension set a calm contrast to the honey-colored bamboo.

Where the lamp shines
Above the dining table, ALDA makes a natural focal point, especially alongside wood, linen and ceramics. The slim sizes suit a kitchen island, where two or three lamps can hang in a row. The wider versions fill a reading corner in the living room or a tall hallway with filtered light. In the bedroom, the warm, diffused light creates a calm evening mood in a wabi sabi or boho setting.
