The alabaster pendant light CESTO is a flat cone of natural stone: switched off, a calm stone object; switched on, a gentle, translucent source of light.
Design and material
The shade is a wide, flat cone of genuine ivory-white alabaster with fine gray and honey-colored veins. Beneath it, a globe bulb protrudes from the opening. The pendant rod and canopy combine black with brass. The light enters the stone, makes its veins glow and emerges soft and glare-free. CESTO is available with one shade, or with two or three shades on a shared ceiling rail. The veining, tone and translucency of the alabaster vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
Above a round dining table or a breakfast nook, the single shade creates a warm focal point. In the living room, CESTO hangs above a coffee table or in a reading corner, taking the place of a floor lamp. The versions with two or three shades suit a long dining table or a kitchen island. Pale woods, linen, muted greens and brass complement the stone particularly well.
