The alabaster wall light ALKO combines a slender, fluted column with real alabaster that begins to glow from within when switched on.
Design and material
The body is made of real alabaster with vertical flutes reminiscent of a classical column, combined with a metal structure. The surface is pale, with fine grey and brownish veins that stand out clearly when lit. Veining and translucency vary from piece to piece. The integrated LED shines in warm white (3000 K): the light passes through the stone and casts a warm glow on the wall. The wall light is available in three heights – 30, 45 and 60 cm – always with the same slim 5 cm depth.

Where the light comes into its own
In the living room, a pair of ALKO lights either side of a sideboard or fireplace adds a calm accent. In the bedroom the small size works beside the bed, while the 60 cm version structures the wall of a hallway or stairwell. The softened, warm light is mood lighting rather than task lighting and suits interiors with natural materials, wood and pale wall colours.
