The travertine wall light MARIA looks like a leaf of stone curling over at its top edge. Genuine travertine meets a holder in solid wood with a walnut look.
Design and materials
The front is made of beige travertine with an open, porous surface. At the bottom it forms a flat panel with rounded corners; at the top it curls into an open, horizontal roll. Behind it, the solid wood wall holder with a walnut finish remains discreetly visible. Two G9 bulb holders are hidden behind the stone and shine against the roll: the light emerges indirectly, grazes the pores and brings out the natural texture of the travertine. The result is a warm glow that gently brightens the wall. Pores and tone vary from piece to piece.
