The travertine wall light KERA hangs from an arm like a small pendant light: a cylinder of rough travertine framed by a broad wooden ring.
Design and materials
An angled arm in black metal leads forward from a round walnut-tone wall plate, and from there the shade hangs on a cable. The shade consists of a cylinder of porous travertine, enclosed by a ring of solid walnut that frames the pale stone warmly. The light falls downwards and grazes the pores of the stone, creating a focused, warm pool of light. The ring measures 17 cm in diameter, the shade is 12.5 cm high, and the projection is 28 cm. The pores and markings of the travertine vary from piece to piece.

Where it shines
In the bedroom, KERA beside the bed replaces the bedside lamp: the downward light is enough for the bedside surface and a book without brightening the whole room.
