A cylindrical alabaster diffuser defines the calm form of the BALSARI wall light. A stand-off metal bracket holds the stone body away from the wall.
Design and material
BALSARI is made of alabaster and metal. The cylinder is 30 cm tall with a diameter of 10 cm, and a 5 cm gap remains between the wall and the stone. As a result, the stone body appears to float slightly in front of the wall. Alabaster is a translucent natural stone: when lit it reveals its veining, and when off it reads as a pale, matt form. Markings and tone vary from piece to piece.

Where the light comes into its own
In hallways and stairwells, BALSARI sets even points of light along the wall, fitted singly or in a row. In the bedroom it works as a light beside the bed when you want to keep the bedside table clear. In the living room it complements a reading corner or frames a sideboard. You choose the bulb yourself; a warm white bulb brings out the warm tones of the stone. Check the dimensions for the intended position before ordering, and ideally have the hardwired connection made by a qualified electrician.
